Physics Teacher Veksler was murdered in Kupel in July 1941. When Germans occupied Kupel, all Ukrainian anti-Semites went to torture, rob and murder the Jews. One day local Ukrainian policeman was dragging teacher Veksler on the Kupel’s streets and beating him. Young Ukrainian woman, one of Veksler’s former students, , spat in the Veksler’s face along the way; than that policeman shoot old teacher.
